Who We Are

Hein Electric was started in 2021 by brothers: Ron, Jim and Steve Hein.

We are a local family, owned and operated business with over 50 years combined experience, located in Southwest Michigan.

After working in the industry for nearly 20 years at other Union shops, we decided it was time to build our own family business together.

Still proud members of the IBEW Local 153 Electrical Union.

We are committed to providing superior quality of service and top notch craftsmanship for any job.

When we’re not on the job, you’ll likely find us coaching our kids’ sports or working on the farm.

We must thank our family for instilling great morals and work ethic in us to share with the people in our surrounding communities.

Our Team Leaders

Ron Hein

Owner, Master Electrician

Ron "Ronnie" Hein has been a licensed electrician since 2002- holding a Master's license since 2017. He resides in Buchanan, MI with his wife and three kids. In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, coaching and watching his kids play sports and keeping busy by helping out others. Professionally he is known for his attention to detail and perfectly lined wires. Ronnie will always give his clients options to get the job done correctly and on budget. He is also a licensed Generac dealer and servicing contractor.

Jim Hein

Owner, Electrician

Jim has been working in the field since 2002; in that time he has learned from the best in the industry. Gaining experience in troubleshooting and service work, equipment hook up, new as well as remodel construction, customer consultation and more. Being a union licensed electrician is a fulfilling career for Jim. We are a union contractor having both completed a union apprenticeship through IBEW LU 153. We are always suggesting for those looking to start a career to apply.

Steve Hein

Owner, Electrician

Steve has worked in the field since 2002. He has worked extensively on commercial, industrial and agricultural jobs, and has traveled cross country setting up industrial jobs. He brings knowledge, integrity and thoroughness to every job, making sure that is done both safely and correctly. In his spare time he enjoys farming on his small farm with his two daughters, wife, family and anyone else he can get to help!
